Regarding Precautions Against COVID-19: Comprehensive Measures for Preventing the “Three Cs”, and Ensuring Health and Hygiene

KURABITO STAY, the sake brewery hotel where you can experience the life of a brewer, is taking comprehensive measures to ensure a safe and secure environment for our guests during the extended COVID-19 pandemic, enacting strict health and hygiene standards and offering a new form of accommodation and interaction designed to avoid the “Three Cs*”

*The “Three Cs”, as defined by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, are closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact settings.

Providing Peace of Mind for Our Guests

At a time when travel and person-to-person interaction are being restricted due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we at KURABITO STAY have given considerable thought as to how we might best offer accommodations and a program where our guests can feel at ease.

After careful consideration, we have decided to evolve and enhance our service around three key concepts: hygiene management, health management, and avoidance of the “Three Cs”. Hygiene management encompasses thorough disinfection of our facilities, while health management involves strict testing of the health status of all staff members and guests. To avoid the “Three Cs”, we have created an environment where guests and staff can interact with each other and amongst themselves while avoiding closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact settings. While we regret that some of our original services can no longer be offered as they were, we believe that it is our responsibility as hosts to offer you, our guests, a safe and secure environment, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Alcohol disinfectant spray stations have been set up throughout the facility.

In addition to our traditionally thorough cleaning measures, the premises and items on it (all objects that can be touched by hand) will be sprayed with alcohol disinfectant spray and wiped.

All utensils, plates, glasses, and cutlery will also be washed and disinfected.

All staff members will take their temperature and record their physical condition before arriving for work.

Staff will wear facemasks at all times when interacting with guests and/or carrying out their assigned duties.

At KURABITO STAY, we have adopted the above measures in order to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, and to ensure a healthy, sanitary environment for all of our guests. We apologize for any and all inconvenience imposed, and ask for your understanding and patience in this matter.
We will be posting additional news and updates on our homepage, so please check it for the latest information.
